One app for Flow Pro Logistics customers in Saudi Arabia to book movers and packers, portable storage, handyman and AC repair jobs, or packing materials. I led the UX in a team of four, on a tight deadline.

Platform:

Flow Pro: moving, storage and home services

Context:

Flow Pro Logistics already ran a large moving, storage and home-services operation in Saudi Arabia. In 2024 they wanted one iOS and Android app where customers could book movers and packers, rent portable storage, order handyman and on-demand repairs such as AC and appliance repair, and buy packing materials. I was the senior UX designer, leading a team of four.

Problem:

The business was already running at scale, but bookings depended on manual work and a weak existing portal. The app had to bring four different services into one product that still matched how the operations team handled each job.

Constraints:

The client needed the app quickly, so we had a short deadline and very little time for UX research.

Process:

1. Research: I split the UX research across our team of four. We reviewed established home-services apps, including Urban Company (formerly UrbanClap) and Snabbit, to find booking patterns customers already know. 2. Flows: I designed the detailed user flows from scratch, from Arabic and English onboarding and OTP sign-in to booking a move, adding storage, handyman jobs and checkout. 3. UI: I divided the screens across the team, and we finalised them together.

Decision:

Build on patterns people already know instead of inventing new ones: service tiles on the home screen, step-by-step booking, prices shown up front, and one cart and checkout for every service. It made up for the short research window and kept each flow close to how Flow Pro already ran the job.

Outcome:

The client got a polished app experience that fit how their business already worked, and it put them in a position to scale.
